He is widely regarded as a strategic leader with the rare ability to connect big-picture vision with boots-on-the-ground execution.

Bill’s journey into the real estate world defies conventional expectations. A proud self-made professional, he began his career not in a boardroom, but on active construction sites—even while holding a college degree. Without a formal academic background in real estate or an MBA, Bill charted his path by working through every department of a top-tier GC/CM firm. This hands-on exposure across functions gave him an intimate understanding of the development lifecycle—knowledge he has continuously deepened through decades of relentless effort, on-the-job learning, and leadership in high-stakes projects.

Bill has been the go-to executive for executing complex, high-value real estate developments on behalf of two of the largest real estate developers in the U.S. His projects are known not just for their technical excellence but also for delivering strategic value and community impact. Throughout his career Bill has been at the helm of more than 11 million square feet of Class A space development across Greater Boston, Maryland/Washington DC, and the Research Triangle in North Carolina. 

His portfolio includes

some of the most transformative projects in the life sciences and R&D space. Signature achievements include AstraZeneca’s and Horizon Therapeutics’ Maryland headquarters, RegenxBio, and MilliporeSigma’s largest North American facility. In North Carolina, Bill successfully led the development of Fujifilm Diosynth and Beam Therapeutics, overseeing a 675,000 square foot mega-campus tailored to specialized biotech and GMP manufacturing needs. Every one of his projects has been LEED-certified, many winning prestigious industry awards.

In Cambridge, Massachusetts

one of the most competitive and constrained real estate markets in the country—Bill’s leadership has delivered over 5 million square feet of residential, including 399 Binney Street, IBM HQ at 75/125 Binney, 11 Hurley Street, and 270 Third Street. Across these projects, he has applied key lessons from his prior experience – prioritizing safety across award-winning developments. He even previously led a risk management safety training program and brings that same safety-first approach to every project. Whether leading the reengineering of life science lab space or managing entitlement and sale of mixed-use developments, his work is known for speed to market, quality of execution, and maximizing long-term value.
